Click Add To Cart 9. Go back and continue browsing or click Continue to Checkout 10. Choose a donation amount 11. Log into Elevent or Register 12. Enter your credit card information 13. Click complete purchase 14. Your order is complete Reminder: CDFF on Demand films are not available to view until October 6th at 5:00PM If you purchasing BEFORE October 6th, on October 5th you will receive an email that contains an access link to the film you purchased 15. Click on Get the App 7. Wait for the App to download 8. Click Open to open the App 9. Either enter voucher code, password or pair your device if prompted - If you are asked to pair use the code that appears on your TV and enter that code on the other device you are pairing with 10. Go to Watch.charginfilmfest.org/pair with your other device 11. Enter the code from your Apple TV 12. You have now successfully paired the devices 13. Browse our amazing lineup of films! 14. When you have chosen a film you would like to view click PLAY Grab the popcorn and enjoy the film! 15. To unlink your device go to Account and click unlink From an Apple TV device, search for the Chagrin Documentary Film Festival app in the App Store, and download the app for free. You must have a newer Apple TV device to access - if your Apple TV remote has an audio search function, you should be good.




How to watch a film on Phone/Tablet


You can watch films on Android tablets and phones using Chrome, and on iPhones and iPads using Safari. iOS devices (iPhone, iPad) Use Safari on iOS 11.2 or later Android devices Use Chrome on Android 6.0 or later Screen mirroring is not supported, ensure it is turned off in your device settings To turn off screen mirroring, access the Control Center (On iPhone X or later or iOS 12 or later, swipe down from the top right corner. Otherwise, swipe up from the bottom of the screen). Tap Screen Mirroring, then tap Stop Mirroring. FIlms cannot be watch on a Kindle device.




What are the requirements for Windows computers?


You can watch content on PCs running Windows 7+ (Windows 7, Windows 8.1 or Windows 10) Supported browsers: Google Chrome, Firefox, Microsoft Edge, Opera. We recommend using the latest version of your browser. Internet Explorer is not supported.




What are the requirements for Mac computers?


Intel-based Macs running Mac OSX 10.12+ Supported browsers: Google Chrome, Firefox, Safari, or Opera. We recommend using the latest version of your browser.




Can I watch content on my iPhone or IPad


Yes, you can watch content using Safari on iOS 11.2 or later. Please note that you must have “Screen Mirroring” turned off for content to play. To turn off screen mirroring, access the Control Center (On iPhone X or later or iOS 12 or later, swipe down from the top right corner. Otherwise, swipe up from the bottom of the screen). Tap Screen Mirroring, then tap Stop Mirroring.




Can I watch content on my Android Device


Yes, you can watch content using Chrome on Android 6.0 or later.




Casting with a Wireless Display Adapter - Chromecast or Wi-Fi Dongle


A wireless display adapter is typically a small device that plugs into the HDMI port of your TV. It acts as a receiver to the signal being transmitted wirelessly from your laptop. What’s critical is that the wireless display technology in the laptop must be compatible with the technology in the wireless display adapter. Chromecast or other Wi-Fi dongles use your home Wi-Fi network to connect your laptop to your TV for casting. This type of connection is used primarily for sharing content from an app or web page. Casting using one of these devices is straight-forward. - Plug the dongle into your TV and follow the on-screen set up instructions, making sure to connect to the same Wi-Fi network that your laptop is connected to - Then pair your laptop with the dongle and enable casting or screen mirroring on your laptop. - Every dongle has different requirements, so refer to the user manual for specific set up instructions. You can Chromecast from a Chrome web browser on PC and Mac computers as well as Android devices by selecting the cast button in the bottom right-hand side of the player. Please note that cast is not available from iphone and ipad.

A wireless display adapter is typically a small device that plugs into the HDMI port of your TV. It acts as a receiver to the signal being transmitted wirelessly from your laptop. What’s critical is that the wireless display technology in the laptop must be compatible with the technology in the wireless display adapter. AIRPLAY from a computer, iPhone, or iPad to an AppleTV (Gen 2 and above_ or to any Smart TV bearing the “Airplay” badge You can AirPlay from most browsers if you have Apple TV by selecting the cast button in the bottom right-hand side of the player.




What happens if I forget my password?


Use the password reset option “forgot password” on the login page to reset your password. You will need access to the e-mail address you use to log in.




Why does video playback freeze or not play smoothly


Delays vary based on internet speed. We use adaptive bitrate streaming which means the streaming quality will automatically adjust based on your internet speed. If your internet connection is poor or inconsistent you may experience problems during playback. If you’re on wifi, try moving closer to your router.




Why do I see a black screen if I am watching content with AirPay on my TV?


You likely have “Screen Mirroring” turned on in your device settings. Please turn off the screen mirroring setting and start AirPlay by selecting the AirPlay button () in the bottom right-hand side of the player.




How long do I have to watch a film once I have purchased it?


If you purchased a streaming ticket, films must be streamed within 48 hours of redemption. A streaming ticket is considered redeemed once you click the "Watch Online" link from your emailed order receipt or when you enter the voucher code on the Watch.Chagrinfilmfest.org login page If you are a Member or a Passholder, there is no time limit.




My streaming ticket/link expired before I could finish streaming the film. Can I get a refund or another link sent?


Streaming tickets must be viewed within 48 hours of redemption. A streaming ticket is considered redeemed once the stream begins to play. There are no refunds or exchanges on CDFF On Demand tickets or membership.




Can I share my CDFF On Demand digital access with another person?


No. Sharing CDFF On Demand tickets or membership accounts are considered acts of piracy, which will be monitored, and any violations will result in the automatic suspension of access to CDFF On Demand without refund.




My streaming ticket/link isn't working. What do I do?


For CDFF On Demand customer support, call us with any questions or issues you encounter at 440-247-1591 and select Option 3 - CDFF On Demand and Tech Issues We will troubleshoot to the best of our abilities. While our staff has a good working knowledge of the CDFF website and the CDFF On Demand platform (or can get in touch with our developers for escalated issues), we are unable to troubleshoot issues with equipment or other technologies.




Can my streaming ticket be exchanged/refunded?


No. There will be no refunds issued or exchanges given on CDFF On Demand tickets or membership




How many films are available to watch?


There are 101 films available to watch as part of CDFF On Demand. If you are a Member or have purchased a Virtual Doc Lover Pass you have unlimited access to CDFF On Demand. If you are a single ticket holder you are able to watch as many films as you purchase.




Can I use my Elevent membership credentials to log into the CDFF On Demand platform?


Yes, you can use your same name and password you use on GoElevent.com for CDFF On Demand




What if I get an error message while buying a ticket about 3rd party cookies


If you are on boxoffice.chagrinfilmfest.org and you try to buy a ticket and get an error message that reads "your browser does not allow access to 3rd party cookies" simply go to GoElevent.com and search for The Chagrin Documentary Film Festival and click Search Events. You should be able to buy tickets without any problem from this site.




Can I Watch Films On My Smart TV or with a Fire Stick?


Fire Stick is not a supported streaming device and films cannot be accessed on a SmartTV unless they are 2019 - 2020 models




Does CDFF offer technical support for CDFF On Demand


Yes. Please call 440-247-1591 and press 3 for Streaming/Tech Support While our staff has a good working knowledge of the CDFF website and the CDFF On Demand (or can get in touch with our developers for escalated issues), we are unable to troubleshoot issues with equipment or other technologies.




Can I be logged into multiple devices at once


Yes. Example - if you start watching a film on your iPad you can finish watching the film on your TV without logging out of your iPad.

1. BEFORE HEADING OUT

  • Ticket Holders - get mobile tickets ready or print your ticket at home.

    • Reminder - 1 ticket = 1 car

  • Members - so we can better serve you and our ticket holders, please make a reservation

  • Double check when doors open, and film start time

  • Clean your car windshield inside and out

  • Test your radio (consider bringing a portable radio if your vehicle shuts off after a period of time)

  • Select face mask.

  • Check the weather.

  • Remember to bring patience and understanding (this is new to us too)

2. GETTING THERE

  • Check the traffic before leaving.

  • Plan to arrive 20 minutes before the start of the film

  • The Drive-in is at 8200 E Washington St (in front of the Mini Golf - enter at Chagrin Cinemas)

  • Follow directions of volunteers in orange vests directing traffic

3. ON SITE

  • Have your mobile or printed ticket ready to be scanned through your window

  • If you are a member, make sure your flag and member card are visible through your windshield (members have a special, reserved area!)

  • Get snacks and beverages from concessions.

  • Be parked in your assigned spot 15 minutes prior to screening start time

  • Tune your radio to the designated 89.5 FM station.

  • There will be no tickets sold onsite. All tickets must be purchased prior to the event.
